We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic part-time Outreach Worker to help develop and deliver the outreach programme for the Lanchester Interactive Archive, co-funded by Coventry University and the Heritage Lottery Fund.
You’ll be working within the Faculty of Arts and Humanities and the dedicated Lanchester Interactive Archive space within the Lanchester Library.  The post, funded to December 2018, will bring to life the amazing archive and achievements of Dr Frederick Lanchester (1868-1946), one of Britain’s greatest engineers and inventors.
The outreach post will work develop audiences and deliver sessions that bring his legacy to life, through a comprehensive programme of outreach work including the innovative digital platform, that will engage people in his inventions and inspire them to be creative.
This is an opportunity to be part of a flexible innovative working environment, delivering an exciting project to a wide range of participants across the city and beyond, focusing on a local genius, whose inventions still impact on our world today, and whose ideas can inspire future generations of creators, inventors and engineers.
