We would like to share with you a story which tells of the life of Edith ‘Biddy’ Lanchester, younger sister of Henry, Frank and Frederick.
In the late 1890’s Edith was making the front pages of newspapers from Birmingham to New York with her story of feminism, socialism and kidnapping. Her passion for her beliefs was unprecedented.
A true innovator and ambassador for change and was influential in making a positive difference to the community we take for granted today.
